Scrapbooking is absolutely addicting and if I had a different head on my shoulders, I think that I would go and spend all my money on more scrapbooking stuff!!! ahhh... maybe I'll go and do a little more and then head to bed! i'm really just not sure what to do with myself with all of this reminiscing and being crafty!!!

Well, it's back upstairs I go...hopefully to bed soon! :)

If u wanna chill this summer, just hit up the cell :) I've got lots of free time!

p.s. be praying for Erica still!!! here's the website: http://www2.caringbridge.org/il/ericavz/index.htm

GOOD SUMMA SUMMA TIME to ya'll!! Wow! This Xanga this is just not my cup of tea.  In that, I mean that I am just not one to first off write in a journal and secondly, one that others read as well.  So, I apologize for the let down, but know that ya'll are chill with it! :)

I just wanted to share with ya'll a bit from the Good Word of a personal LOVE relationship the the Lord has created for us:

"I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you."-Jeremiah 31:3

"...then shall the young women rejoice in the dance, and the young men and the old shall be merry.  I will turn their mourning into joy; I will comfort them, and give them gladness for sorrow.  I will feast the soul of the priests with abundance, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, declares the Lord."-Jeremiah 31:13-14

What a mighty and faithful loving Lord that we have!!

Because of His Great riches and mighty love,  me :)

Have a great summer ya'll!! I may write again soon and it may take me a loooong while to get back to this! :)

School is crazy!  I can't wait for these next 3 weeks to finish up, successfully, and be at home for a month!!! whooohoooo!! Then I'll be in Cali for a little hittin' up Jules and Tina, sweet times headed our way ladies! :)  Super stoked for that...

Thanksgiving was absolutely amazing.  I do wish I got more sleep, but other than that, it was such a blessing to be back home and see my mom, dad, and brother.  They are truly the ones behind me 100% and man does it rock to know that for sure!  I also got to see Gayle and her family, which is always a blast...we ladies almost won that game, Christmas time we'll have to hit up the boys and rock it! I also got to hang out with Erik, which was a blast for sure...definitely need to catch up more, but it was a great time.

I also had my 21st, which was quite interesting.  The first officialy drink was a pina colada, which was quite tasty.  Then the rest of the week my dad was training me, or rather introducing me to other  kinds of liquor through-out the spread of the week.  I definitely enjoyed most of them.  Not that I'm an alchi or anything, but i'd say hard liquor is my choice over the beer, for sure.

Then, I got to see Jacquie get married! HOW EXCITING!! Congrats Jacquie and Jeff.  For those who don't know, Jacquie was my small group leader in high school and is super awesome.  Super cute and fun wedding. I have to say though, when i'm not comfortable around people I tend to back away from the dance floor, which is what i kinda did at the wedding, sorry to those who wanted me out there.  I was just a bit out of it and tired and well, yeah...we'll end that there.   I got to see a friend from high school, Quinn, as well as girls from my small group and catch up with them, which was super great! Everyone seems to be dating someone, at least back home it's like that.

Let's see, what else can I ramble on about while I'm backing away from studying...Ahhh...yes, I got to BAKE while I was home!! mmm...making pie is sooooo much fun! the only thing is that I starting my apple walnut streusel pie late because Gayle and I decided to go shopping Friday morning after Thanksgiving! Which, I have to say was a blast and a half.  We found this really awesome new store in Woodfield called SO GOOD JEWELRY.  Ya'll should check it out sometime, it's definitely sweet, toooons to choose from. We also went to other crazy stores which was super fun and great.  Then we headed home after hitting up Streets and Woodfield and had to get ready for my dad's side Thanksgiving. I looooove that side of the family, not that I don't love the other side, cause I DOOO FOR SURE...but yeah, I don't think I talk much about my dad's side.  They are super great and tons of fun, hopefully we will have more parties and get togethers soon.

Gettin to see the cousins and aunts and uncles on my mom's side was a blast too...got to catch up with my cous Katie and Nicki, and Lauren and Amber...super tight! Can't wait till Christmas time and catch up with the rest and have some quality time! booooyaaah! :)

OHHH...how could I forget! IT SNOWED!!! Yep, that's for sure...sooo beautiful.

Well, I must get back to studyin' for my exam tonight, just wanted to update real quickly, since I've neglected Xanga this semester due to my overloaded schedule and lack of sleep.  Sorry Xanga...haha

Have a great rest of the semester everyone and keep pressin' on! Break will be here before we know it!

Check this song out ya'll...
"I'm here to meet with you
come and meet with me
I'm here to find you
reveal yourself to me

As I wait, you make me strong
As I long, draw me to your arms
As I stand and sing your praise
You come, you come and you fill this place
Won't you come, Won't you come and fill this place

I'm here to meet with you
Come and meet with me
I'm here to find you,
reveal yourself to me

As I wait, you make me strong
As I long, draw me to your arms
As I stand and sing your praise
You come, you come and you fill this place
Won't you come, Won't you come and fill this place

I'm here to meet with you
Come and meet with me"

As always, He is Faithful and True and All that we need!
Though this week is stressful and packed, it's all in His hands and not mine! PTL!!
Night ya'll...and back home to the burbs soon,
Katie :)
