School is crazy! I can't wait for these next 3 weeks to finish up, successfully, and be at home for a month!!! whooohoooo!! Then I'll be in Cali for a little hittin' up Jules and Tina, sweet times headed our way ladies! :) Super stoked for that...
Thanksgiving was absolutely amazing. I do wish I got more sleep, but other than that, it was such a blessing to be back home and see my mom, dad, and brother. They are truly the ones behind me 100% and man does it rock to know that for sure! I also got to see Gayle and her family, which is always a blast...we ladies almost won that game, Christmas time we'll have to hit up the boys and rock it! I also got to hang out with Erik, which was a blast for sure...definitely need to catch up more, but it was a great time.
I also had my 21st, which was quite interesting. The first officialy drink was a pina colada, which was quite tasty. Then the rest of the week my dad was training me, or rather introducing me to other kinds of liquor through-out the spread of the week. I definitely enjoyed most of them. Not that I'm an alchi or anything, but i'd say hard liquor is my choice over the beer, for sure.
Then, I got to see Jacquie get married! HOW EXCITING!! Congrats Jacquie and Jeff. For those who don't know, Jacquie was my small group leader in high school and is super awesome. Super cute and fun wedding. I have to say though, when i'm not comfortable around people I tend to back away from the dance floor, which is what i kinda did at the wedding, sorry to those who wanted me out there. I was just a bit out of it and tired and well, yeah...we'll end that there. I got to see a friend from high school, Quinn, as well as girls from my small group and catch up with them, which was super great! Everyone seems to be dating someone, at least back home it's like that.
Let's see, what else can I ramble on about while I'm backing away from studying...Ahhh...yes, I got to BAKE while I was home!! mmm...making pie is sooooo much fun! the only thing is that I starting my apple walnut streusel pie late because Gayle and I decided to go shopping Friday morning after Thanksgiving! Which, I have to say was a blast and a half. We found this really awesome new store in Woodfield called SO GOOD JEWELRY. Ya'll should check it out sometime, it's definitely sweet, toooons to choose from. We also went to other crazy stores which was super fun and great. Then we headed home after hitting up Streets and Woodfield and had to get ready for my dad's side Thanksgiving. I looooove that side of the family, not that I don't love the other side, cause I DOOO FOR SURE...but yeah, I don't think I talk much about my dad's side. They are super great and tons of fun, hopefully we will have more parties and get togethers soon.
Gettin to see the cousins and aunts and uncles on my mom's side was a blast too...got to catch up with my cous Katie and Nicki, and Lauren and Amber...super tight! Can't wait till Christmas time and catch up with the rest and have some quality time! booooyaaah! :)
OHHH...how could I forget! IT SNOWED!!! Yep, that's for sure...sooo beautiful.
Well, I must get back to studyin' for my exam tonight, just wanted to update real quickly, since I've neglected Xanga this semester due to my overloaded schedule and lack of sleep. Sorry Xanga...haha
